They know my boy by name, he is complex and has had a lot of issues and no matter who is taking care of him they always take the best care to make sure he is comfortable and not scared. They're also open on weekends and have urgent care hours which is amazing. I love my vet. Scooby has spent a few overnights at Southview for illness and they always make sure he is comfortable and loved.

Dr Gohr is understanding, caring, and wants to find out what's wrong with Kara as much as I do. She's amazing. She's nice. 1000% fantastic care!

My kitten had a reaction to her vaccines. I called Southview and they got us in right away. My kitten had to go both days but each staff was kind and made the scary process a bit easier. My kitten is feeling better and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thanks Southview.

Late Saturday night, I realized that one of my cats was in trouble - a large tear dropped from one eye that she wouldn't open, and a scratch leading to the eye was evident. She had been in a fierce play fight the night before with her pal Oscar. I called around, and urgent/emergency care places were closed, not accepting any more pets, or (the best) had a wait of 3-4 hours. It was 11 pm. I called one last clinic that closed at midnight, and the vet relayed that she would see my cat if I could get there by 11:30. It was pouring rain, and driving as fast as possible, I didn't arrive until 11:45. She immediately put me at ease, and let me know that she didn't want my cat to go unexamined until Monday and risk a serious eye problem. She gave her A+ diagnostics and treatment, disregarding the extra time spent, fortunately, because she had a substantial ulcer on her cornea (in addition to staining her cornea for diagnosis and giving her antibiotic eye drops and pain meds, she prepared an eye serum with my cat's white blood cells from a blood draw that hastened her recovery (I'd never heard of this)! She was so relaxed and empathic toward my cat that she helped me calm down as well, and clearly explained what I needed to do next. Her complete focus on what the cat needed (not me) was memorable.
